ESL program and/or support services

The ESL program at DeVry University was designed to serve international undergraduate and graduate students who have been accepted to the University and who need further development in their English-language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.  ESL instructors apply second language teaching approaches in developing students’ language skills and communication competencies essential in achieving academic and professional success. ESL courses are offered Chicago, Fremont, Sherman Oaks, and Canada.

Student Housing options

DeVry University offers student housing – Taylor Hall – at our Fremont location.

While our Fremont, California campus has their own residence hall, our other campuses may be able to provide information to students needing housing assistance. The campuses take a personal approach and will work with students and help them locate resources that can assist the student in their search.  The final arrangements are between a property owner, leasing agency or another individual and not with DeVry University.

Undergrad Requirements and Forms:

  1. International Student Application Form
  2. Credit Card Authorization Form for the payment of the US$40 application fee and Transcript Evaluation Fee of $50  (if applicable)
  3. Notarized or Official  Copies of Transcripts of Secondary School  Diploma and Transcripts
  4. Notarized or Official  Copies of College Transcripts (if applicable)
  5. *TOEFL/ IELTS scores (if applicable)
  6. SAT, ACT, or DeVry Online Placement Test
  7. 2012 US Enrollment Agreement Form
  8. Official Transcript Request Form

Grad Requirements and Forms:

  1. International Student Application Form
  2. Credit Card Authorization Form for the payment of the US$40 application fee and US$50 Transcript Evaluation Fee
  3. Notarized or Official  Copies of Graduation Diploma/ Certificate and Transcripts
