About the institution

The San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) has an 89 year history of providing its community and students with quality and affordable vocational certificates, associate’s degrees, and preparation for transfer to a four year college or university through San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) and Crafton Hills College (CHC). San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) and Crafton Hills College (CHC) offer a multitude of options in a wide range of fields including health care, automotive, business, computers, criminal justice, electronics, theater arts, fire safety, welding and more.

The district has over 40 international students from over 20 countries.

ESL program and/or support services

San Bernardino Valley College offers four levels of ESL courses for non-English speakers.  However, it does not have an intensive ESL program at this time.

Student Housing options

San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College does not provide on-campus housing.  However, there are several off-campus housing options for students to consider, such as apartments or rooming houses.  We recommend that students start searching for off-campus housing early.  There are a few apartment complexes near California State University, San Bernardino that are popular among students–Lido ApartmentsAcacia Park Apartments and Broadstone Serrano.
