ESL program and/or support services

Join our intensive English language program and transition to college without taking TOEFL.  The English Language Institute (ELI) is an intensive English language program providing academic preparation in reading, listening, speaking, grammar, and U.S. culture. Classes meet 20 hours per week at the MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus, Monday through Thursday in the afternoon and Friday in the morning. The cost of the program is $2,000 for an 8-week class session. ESL classes begin five times in the year: January, March, June, August and October.

Complete the International Student Application Form.

Provide required support documents listed on International Student webpage.

International Student visas issued

MiraCosta is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students (F-1 visa.)

Cost of attendance and financial assistance

Estimated tuition and fees for one school year is $6,000 USD.  International students are also required to purchase Accident and Sickness insurance estimated to be $1,340 for one calendar year.  MiraCosta does not offer financial assistance to international students.
