Cal State East Bay offers excellent education in an exciting location at a competitive price. Situated in a park-like setting overlooking San Francisco Bay, California State University, East Bay provides the facilities and activities of a mid-sized university in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our central location allows students to do internships in two major metropolitan areas extending from San Francisco to San Jose and Silicon Valley, both just a 30- to 40-minute drive from the main campus in Hayward. CSUEB is nationally recognized as among the most diverse universities in the US, with international students from over 60 countries. Cal State East Bay offers undergraduate degrees in 49 fields and graduate degrees in 30 areas. In addition to degree programs, the American Language Program offers intensive English language study as preparation for university study.
